The Lexar Professional 800x CompactFlash card is a high performance card aimed at enthusiast and professional photographers. Its advertised speeds are 120MB/s read and 45MB/s write. The card uses the latest UDMA-7 protocol for high speed transfers. It also has a guaranteed 20MB/s minimum continuous write speed for recording high definition video. It is available in 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512 GB capacities.
In USB 3.0 memory card readers, the Lexar 800x CF surpassed its advertised read speed. It reached a maximum speed of 160.9 MB/s sequential read in the Lexar Professional Workflow CFR1 Card Reader. Write speed in the same card reader was 45.9 MB/s.

In cameras, the Lexar Professional 800x write speeds measured slightly lower than advertised. In the Canon 7D Mark II memory card comparison it averaged 40.9MB/s actual write speed. In the Nikon D810 it performed at 40MB/s average write speed. In the D800 it only reached 34MB/s average write speed. In comparison, the Lexar Professional 1066x CF card supports write speeds over twice as fast.
