The SanDisk Extreme Pro 160MB/s is the highest performance option in the SanDisk CompactFlash card line. Its is advertised at 160MB/s read speed and 150MB/s write speed. The card supports UDMA-7 for high speed transfers. The Extreme Pro is offered in 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB sizes.
Read and write speed tests were performed using five different USB 3.0 card readers. Using the Lexar Professional Workflow CFR1 CompactFlash Reader, speeds of 161.5 MB/s sequential read 147.9 MB/s sequential write were recorded. Overall, the SanDisk Extreme Pro CF performed as advertised read and write speeds in benchmark tests.

When the Extreme Pro was tested in cameras its performance was impressive. Actual write speed in the Canon 7D Mark II was 101.2 MB/s average in continuous shooting. In the Nikon D810 it performed at 96.0 MB/s write speed. In the Nikon D800 it reached 70.5 MB/s write speed.
