In camera testing, the Transcend 1000X card averaged 95.7MB/s write speed in the Nikon D810, which was essentially the same speed the SanDisk Extreme Pro CF card recorded in the same camera. The D800 was only able to get 68.5MB/s write, which is mostly a limiation of the camera rather than the card.

We found the Transcend's performance to be excellent. While Transcend may not have quite the cachet of Lexar or SanDisk among photographers, its 1000x CF card was a top contender in both cameras and card readres. Transcend is a well-established brand worldwide and has been manufacturing computer-related memory products since 1988.
