Lexar Professional 633x 64GB microSDXC UHS-I U1 Memory Card Review

Introduction

The Lexar Professional 633x microSD 64GB card provides UHS-I speeds up to 95MB/s (read) for fast transfers. Lexar does not quote a read speed, although the UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) rating means this card must support at least 10MB/s continuous write speed. The U1 are suitable for high definition video recording. Lexar 633x microSD cards are offered in 16GB, 32, 64, 128 and 200GB capacities. The 64GB microSDXC card (LSDMI64GBB1NL633R) is tested in this review.

Lexar Professional 633x series memory cards are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. The 64GB microSDXC card tested is marked "Made in Korea" on the back side.

Included microSD Memory Card Reader

Lexar Professional 633x microSD cards are sold with a microSD memory card reader. This compact reader supports UHS-I microSD cards. A separate test of the included Lexar LRWM03U-7000 microSD card reader can be found in the card reader reviews.

Performance

In card reader benchmark tests the 64GB 633x microSDXC card reached up to 96.8 MB/s sequential read speed, just above the 95MB/s read speed claim by Lexar. Maximum sequential write speed measured 28.3 MB/s.
