Delkin Power UHS-II V90 128GB SDXC Memory Card Review

Introduction

The Delkin Power UHS-II V90 card delivers maximum performance with up to 300 MB/s read and 250 MB/s write speeds. The Power series cards are Video Speed Class 90 (V90) rated for 4K and 8K video recording by providing a minimum of 90MB/s sustained write speed. The cards are also backed by Delkin's lifetime warranty with a 48-hour replacement.

Delkin Power UHS-II cards are offered in 32, 64 and 128GB capacities. The 128GB SDXC card model DDSDG2000128 with UPC 814373022213 is tested in this review.

Performance

The performance of the Delkin Power UHS-II card was evaluated using a variety of card readers. In benchmark tests the Power 128GB card measured up to 296.9 MB/s sequential read speed which is very close to the 300 MB/s claim. The maximum sequential write speed was 235.3 MB/s, slightly below the 250MB/s maximum write speed claimed for the card.

When the card is used in UHS-I devices it reverts to UHS-I speed. This is shown in the UHS-I SD card reader benchmarks, where the card reached up to 96.6 MB/s sequential read speed in UHS-I mode. The maximum write speed in UHS-I mode was 87.9 MB/s.
