Toshiba is the second-largest NAND flash memory manufacturer in the world. It co-owns a memory fatory in Japan with SanDisk and produces memory and controllers for many other well-known brands, including Kingston. The Toshiba EXCERIA line is not easy to find in the US, but it can be found in Europe and Japan.
The EXCERIA Type 1 offers fast 95MB/s read speed and claims a blazing 90MB/s write speed. The Type 1 is available in 8, 16, 32 GB capacities.
We measured performance of the Exceria Type 1 using USB 3.0 card readers. It achieved 97.1 MB/s read speed and 88.4 MB/s write speed in benchmark tests.

Performance in cameras was also impressive. The Canon 7D Mark II reached 70.8 MB/s write speed, while the Nikon D810 reached 68.5MB/s write speed.
