The Sony 95MB/s SD memory card offers UHS-I performance with advertised speeds of 95MB/s read and 90MB/s write. The card has the UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) designation which means it supports at least 30MB/s continuous write for 4K HD video recording. Sony recommends this 95MB/s card for continuous shooting with DSLR cameras. The card is available in 32 and 64 GB capacities.
The Sony 95MB/s card differs from the Sony 94MB/s card in read speed. The 94MB/s card advertises 60MB/s write speed, while this 95MB/s card claims 90MB/s write speed.
We measured maximum read in write speed using several USB 3.0 card readers. The Sony 95MB/s card performed up to specification on read speed, reaching 95MB/s in several card readers including a maximum 95.6 MB/s sequential read speed using the Kingston MobileLite G4 card reader. The highest write speed we measured was slighly less than advertised. The best squential write speed we recorded was 89.0 MB/s using the Lexar Professional Dual Slot card carder.
