Wise Advanced SD-N UHS-II 128GB SDXC Card Review

Introduction

Wise Advanced, based in Taiwan, offers memory cards and card readers. The SD-N is their top UHS-II SD card with 290MB/s read 260 MB/s write speeds.

The SD-N card is offered in 128, 256GB and 512GB capacities. At the time of its introduction in 2022, it was the first V90 class 512GB SDXC UHS-II card. Video Speed Class V90 cards are rated to allow at least 90MB/s continuous write necessary for 8K video recording.

The card tested is the 128GB SDXC card. The model name is SD-N128 and the UPC is 4712968956409. Wise memory cards have a 2 year warranty. The card is produced in Taiwan.

Performance

The Wise SD-N 128GB UHS-II card was tested using memory card readers. In benchmarking tests the SD-N card attained a maximum sequential read speed of 301.1 MB/s. Sequential write speed peaked at 274.6 MB/s in benchmark testing. These measurements are better than the 290MB/s read and 260MB/s write speeds advertised by Wise. The high speeds are only available in UHS-II devices. When the card is used in UHS-I devices the speeds will be lower, as seen in the results below with card readers that only support UHS-I.
