Upcoming Updates: What to Expect

New memory card, card reader, and camera tests will continue soon. The following is an outline of what to expect over the coming weeks and months.

A number of new memory cards have been released since the last tests were performed. During that time several cards and some card readers have been discontinued or replaced with newer models. In order to keep the site current, tests are performed using currently available items.

The tests and results of discontinued cards and card readers will remain on the site, but will be archived so that the main tables (for memory cards, readers, etc.) will contain products that are still generally for sale. This will help reduce the growing number of items in the main tables. Comparisons will continue to be made between new and old cards (and card readers when appropriate) in individual card (and reader) reviews. A new comparison table format will be used for card reviews.

After the memory card inventory has been brought up to current, camera testing will resume. This will take some time because of the number of new cards that need to be obtained, photographed, tested and reviewed.
