Kingston U3 64GB microSDXC UHS-I 90/80 Memory Card Review

Introduction

The Kingston U3 microSDXC memory card is rated at 90 MB/s read and 80MB/s write speed. It features UHS-I compatibility and is rated UHS Speed Class 3 to guarantee at least 30MB/s continuous write performance to support recording 4K video. The Kingston UHS-I U3 microSD card is available in capacities of 16, 32 and 64 GB and is backed by a lifetime warranty. The 64GB microSDXC version (SDCA3/64GB) is tested in this review.

Performance

The 64GB Kingston U3 microSD card surpassed its read and write speed ratings in USB 3.0 card reader benchmark tests. It reached 96.3 MB/s sequential read speed and 85.3MB/s sequential write speed in the Delkin Travel Reader.
